Hi, I’m Marta Reis Alves, a multidisciplinary designer working across graphic design, visual communication, and research-driven projects.
My practice is rooted in design as a tool for understanding, storytelling, and social impact. I’m particularly interested in how design can translate complex ideas into clear, accessible, and emotionally resonant experiences — whether through editorial systems, visual identities, objects, or participatory processes. With a double bachelor degree in design and multimedia art, I approach projects holistically, combining conceptual thinking with strong visual execution.
I value process as much as outcome, often working through research, experimentation, and iteration to arrive at meaningful solutions rather than purely aesthetic results.
Alongside design, photography plays an important role in my work as a way of observing, documenting, and constructing narratives. This dual perspective allows me to move fluidly between analysis and intuition, structure and sensitivity.
I’m especially drawn to projects that engage with culture, education, social innovation, and environmental responsibility, and I aim to collaborate with people and institutions that share these values.
